The 2008 Arts and Humanities Summit is sponsored by the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education, Bismarck State College, and the Council of College Faculties.

Arts and Humanities Summit
A Word About Students
The 2008 Arts and Humanities Summit will give special attention to creating future leaders by having professionals in our state tell, for example, how they run arts and humanities organizations or how they engage these studies. Similarly, a traditional scholarly paper might be presented non..traditionally; perhaps one might discuss the genesis of the idea and how the research was conducted.
Most BSC students in arts and humanities courses will be attending Summit events in lieu of class, and we encourage faculty across the state to think of students who will become leaders and to ask them to attend. Also, we ask faculty to cooperate to make sure their discipline or department is represented at the Summit, especially at the Collage Concert. It would be ideal to have every college and university on the stage for the Collage Concert on Friday night, as well as most of the disciplines.
