Polar Communications, in cooperation with its retired employees and directors, has established the Polar Retiree Scholarship Program to recognize and reward students, who upon graduation, intend to work in the telecommunications industry within the state of North Dakota.
These scholarships in the amount of $1000(minimum) or $1500(maximum) will be awarded to students entering their junior or senior year at an accredited four-year college or students entering their final year at an accredited technical school or two-year college and be enrolled in a curriculum studying the telecommunications field. The awards may be used for tuition, books, fees, supplies and equipment for instruction at accredited institutions of higher learning.
Deadline for this scholarship is February 17, 2010. Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office, Schafer Hall Room 308 or can be completed online at
