The Dushinske & Jamison Water Resources Scholarship Endowment was established by the North Dakota Water Education Foundation (NDWEF) within the North Dakota Community Foundation in honor and memory of Russ Dushinske and Warren Jamison's distinguished service, dedicated leadership and life-long devotion to water development in North Dakota.
Income from the Dushinske & Jamison Water Resources Scholarship Endowment provides scholarships to two deserving North Dakota students whose family has taken an active role in state water resource management. There will be two $1000 scholarships awarded to one female and one male. Scholarship recipients must attend a North Dakota college or university and preference will be given to, but is not limited to, students studying water-related fields.
Applications for the Dushinske & Jamison Water Resource Scholarship must be submitted to the North Dakota Water Education Foundation no later than April 1 of each year. The NDWEF scholarship advisory committee will notify the scholarship recipient(s) by May 1. The scholarship awards will be presented at the Awards Banquet of the ND Water Convention on December 9, 2010. Recipients must attend the banquet to receive their scholarship. The scholarship award will be mailed to the college or university financial aid office for distribution in August.
Please complete the application process and submit to the North Dakota Water Education Foundation by April 1. Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office Room 138.
