This waiver is available to dependent students whose parent was killed in action or died from wounds or other service connected causes, died from service connected disabilities, was a prisoner of war, or was declared missing in action.

"Dependent" means any child, spouse, widow, or widower of a resident veteran. The waiver will cover tuition for up to eight semesters within the North Dakota University System schools.
