This waiver is available for the survivor of a firefighter or peace officer killed in the line of duty.

"Survivor" means children under the age of 21 and the spouse of a firefighter or peace officer at the time of the firefighter's or peace officer's death.

This waiver would cover tuition for up to eight semesters within the North Dakota University System schools.
