The following information relates to the minimum number of credits required for each program:

• Alternative Loans - varies with each lender
• BSC Foundation Scholarships - 15 credits
• BSC Cultural Diversity Waiver - 6 credits (12 credits preferred, maximum of 5 semesters)
• Federal Supplemental Grant - 6 credits
• Federal Perkins Loan - 6 credits
• Federal Work Study - 6 credits
• Federal Subsidized Stafford Loan - 6 credits
• Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loan - 6 credits
• Federal Parent Loan - 6 credits
• North Dakota Indian Scholarship - 12 credits
• North Dakota State Grant - 12 credits
• North Dakota Scholars Program - 12 credits
• North Dakota National Guard Tuition Waiver - no minimum
• Scholarships from various organizations - normally 12 credits (depends upon each donor)

Federal Pell Grant - will be adjusted based upon the number of credits the student's enroll in.

• 12+ credits = Full-time
• 9-11 credits = Three-quarter time
• 6-8 credits = Half-time
• 1-5 credits = Less than half-time
