Students enjoy many choices in activities to enrich their campus experience at BSC. Besides a wide variety of clubs, there are musical groups, drama and art activities, intramural and varsity sports, student government and publications.

BSC is part of the Learning College movement and uses its principles to practice "Learning First," which puts student learning at the forefront of all plans and activities on campus. Instructors are dedicated to teaching and give students individual attention when needed. Students also benefit from smaller classes, with an average student to faculty ratio of 18/1.
