Huber has worked at Bismarck State College since 1999. His office coordinates BSC's distance learning initiatives, the Instructional Technology Center, the Interactive Television and Interactive Video Network, and BSC's military partnerships. Born in Bismarck, Huber has a Master of Management degree from University of Mary and BS in criminal justice with a Spanish minor from the University of North Dakota. He also took courses at BSC. Huber teaches basic computer skills for students taking Electric Power Technology online and distance learning courses for the Dickinson State University Communications program. He previously taught introductory courses for BSC's Computer Science program.
Huber serves on the North Dakota University System Online Advisory Council, Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education Internet Course Exchange Executive Board, Pearson Learning Studio Product Advisory Board, and co-legislative committee for Council of College and Military Educators / National Association of Institutions for Military Education Services. He was a recent member of the Bismarck State College Foundation Board of Trustees.
Before coming to BSC, Huber ran his own Web consulting business. A veteran of Desert Storm, 1st Lt. Huber served 15 years in the North Dakota Army National Guard and completed extended tours in Ecuador, Honduras, Panama, Saudi Arabia and elsewhere around the world.
