We welcome you to visit our Multicultural office and discover
the selection of student services we provide. If you need
academic or personal assistance, we can help with a variety of on
campus and off campus referral services.
Our mission is to offer cultural based student support
services and referrals to promote educational achievement,
collegiate success and cultural enrichment for our BSC
students.
While you attend BSC, we want your college experience to be a
success. The Multicultural office offers you a place to express
your culture, join cultural clubs, find academic assistance
suited to your needs, participate in cultural events and
experience fun social activities with fellow students.
Our services include:
- A place to visit and express your culture.
- A neutral ground for expression of student concerns.
- Promotion of diversity-related events and programs.
- Advisement for Multicultural and Native American student
clubs & activities.
- Facilitation of open forums concerning diversity issues.
We work closely with other BSC
programs and off-campus agencies to offer:
- Assistance in the areas of academic advisement, career
planning, college success skills, financial aid, tutoring, and
other student needs.
- Referrals for local childcare, counseling, disability
services, housing, job services, transportation, and contact with
state and tribal agencies.
- Educational opportunity information on diversity-related
scholarships, waivers, internships, writing tips, and important
dates and deadlines.
You can be involved with our Multicultural Club to plan cultural events and
activities!
