PRINTING, COPYING, FAXING

Does it cost to print from the computers?
  • Yes, the library charges 10 cents/page for printing. Computer prints are routed to the printer at the Library's circulation/reference desk.  We accept cash or checks for the amount of purchase with proper ID.  We cannot accept credit cards or debit cards.

I want to print from the computers, but I don't want to pay.
  • If you are a currently enrolled BSC student, go to the open computer labs in the Jack Science Center 120/122.  There is no charge for printing for BSC students in those labs.  On Sundays during the academic year, the Library's Information Skills classroom (101H) serves as the campus open lab and is open from 3-7 p.m.  There is no charge for printing in that lab on Sundays.

I need some photocopies.  Will you do that for me?
  • We have two self-service, coin-op photocopiers in the Library building - one in the hallway and one in the Library itself.  Library staff can show you how to use the copiers.  Copies are 10 cents each.  Change is available at the circulation desk.  Photocopying is a cash only service.  There is no charging and we do not accept debit cards, credit cards, or checks for photocopying.

Can you fax a document for me?
  • We offer outgoing fax services for fax numbers within the United States. We charge $1.50 for the first page and .50 for each additional page (no charge for the Library's fax cover sheet). Payment must be made in cash at the time of the request. Charging is not allowed nor do we accept checks, credit cards, or debit cards.  Faxing will be done by Library staff during regular library hours. The BSC Library is not responsible for faxes that are not received. If receipt of your fax is time-sensitive or important, contact the receiving person or organization to make them aware that you are sending a document and to ensure that their fax machine is in the ready mode. The Library does not accept incoming faxes for library patrons.
