Search Committee Meeting(s); candidate recruitment activities, receive applications, etc.; Committee training for application review; develop interview questions. |
| June - August |
Committee begins review and rating of applications. All candidate files read and reviewed by June 21. Review candidate ratings and select semi-finalists for interview. Send scenarios to semi-finalists to be completed by mid September or at least prior to interviews & open forums on campus. |
| September 25-28 |
Search Committee Meeting (two-three days) to interview semi-final candidates; open forums (student, employee and community input); recommend three to five unranked finalists to Chancellor/Board for consideration as President. |
| October - November |
Chancellor and Board interview final candidates; final candidates visit Bismarck State College. SBHE selects new President. |
