Transfer - For almost any bachelor's degree or graduate program, BSC is the place to start. You can complete the first and second year of studies toward a bachelor's degree in nearly any field. Students earn an associate in arts or associate in science degree. BSC graduates have successfully transferred to every college in North Dakota and to hundreds of colleges and universities throughout the country. Credits from BSC transfer easily, so take your pick of majors. Reach for your beyond!

Technical - Pursue a degree or certification in one of nearly 40 technical programs and you can be working in a good job in just two years or less. In fact, many BSC programs have been developed to fill the needs of area businesses and industries. Completion leads to a program certificate, program diploma, or associate in applied science degree. You'll learn the skills of your chosen trade and get great help with job placement.

Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Energy Management - BSC's unique bachelor's degree is geared to those seeking supervisory and management positions in the energy industry. The program is offered entirely online.

Take a Campus Tour!

BSC offers Campus Tours on most weekdays at noon and 2 p.m. If you are interested in an "up close" view  of BSC, we'd love to have you come visit.  We keep our tour groups small to assure that you have a personalized visit. The buildings you may visit include:  Library, Aquatic Center,  Tech Center, Career  Academy, Student Union (including the Bookstore and Cafeteria),  the National Energy Center of Excellence, and if you desire, the Residence Halls.  You will have time to meet  with and  Admissions representative as well. We can also arrange meetings with faculty in conjunction with your tour. Call (701) 224-5429 to schedule your tour, and plan to be here for 1.5 hours.  Please give us three to five days advance notice.  See you soon!

Apply early for limited enrollment programs

Many of BSC's technical programs accept limited numbers of new students. It is important to apply early if you plan to enroll in any limited enrollment program. Openings for the fall semester are available in these programs: Carpentry; Electronics/Telecommunications Technology; Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC); Instrumentation and Control Technology; Mechanical Maintenance Technology, Process Plant Technology, and the new Renewable Generation Technology program. BSC Surgical Technology
Demand strong for allied health personnel, including surgical technicians

A career in an allied health field can satisfy your desire to make a difference in the lives of others. You can complete these programs in two years or less. Demand is strong for allied health personnel in hospitals and health care facilities in this area and across the country.

The Surgical Technology program prepares students to step into a satisfying position in hospitals, clinics, and same-day surgery centers. Students take theoretical courses and polish professional skills during a clinical internship. Students receive an Associate in Applied Science degree.

BSC's other allied health programs are:
    • Medical Laboratory Technician
    • Phlebotomy Technician
                                                                  • Practical Nursing of the Dakota Nursing Program
                                                                  • LPN to Associate degree RN of the Dakota Nursing Program
                                                                  • Paramedic (EMT) Technology

Enrollment is limited for these programs, so apply early. Some have prerequisites that must be completed before acceptance into the program. Visit our Academics website for more program information.
