Online general education classes

Online energy courses
$216.00/credit hour

When is payment due?

When you sign up for classes, your billing information can be viewed through the campus connection site. After you register for classes, click on Student Self-Service, Learner Services and Finances. Payment due dates can be found at www.bismarckstate.edu/business/.

If you register for a class or classes, after the semester begins, you must pay your bill at the time you register. Company authorizations/vouchers must be received at the time you register if the company is paying your tuition. Billing questions can be directed to (701) 224-5533 if your last name begins with A-K or (701) 224-5706 if your last name begins with L-Z. Emails can also be sent to BSC.Business.Office@bsc.nodak.edu.

How can I find out if my company pays any tuition?

Contact your Human Resources department.

What if my company will not pay until after a class is completed?

You must pay the tuition by the due date and obtain reimbursement from your company after you have completed the class.

To obtain verification of payment to present to your company, go to www.bismarckstate.edu. Login to CampusConnection. Go to Student Self Service/Learner Services/Finances/Account Summary (pick the correct Term and scroll down to the View Account Detail). This information along with a print out of your class schedule can be used for your documentation for reimbursement.

If my company pays by vouchers, may I change my courses?

If the voucher states that you may change courses, yes. If not, you must either get a new voucher or pay for the course yourself on or before the semester due date or at the time you register for the class if registration takes place after the semester due date.

What if my company has indicated they will pay my tuition and I continue to receive a bill?

Until the BSC Business Office receives written approval from your company to bill the company, you the student are responsible for your balance in full. Check with your company to make sure they have sent written authorization or a voucher to the BSC Business Office. Please note, some companies sent the written authorization/voucher to the student with directions to send the written authorization/voucher to the school.

What if my company does not pay the full amount of tuition?

You must pay the difference on or before the semester due date or at the time you register for the class(es) after the semester due date.
