| NERC SynchorPashor Training Course - Emphasis on Real Time Dynamic Monitoring System - 10 CEH |
This course will provide training that is intended to support the rollout of the most recent revision of the Real Time Dynamic Monitoring System? (RTDMS) that was released in September, 2007. This course will present information and training on a high-speed measurement device (SynchroPhasor) that will provide warnings of wide-area problems on the grid. This software tool will help operators and is disseminated under the NERC umbrella.
What are the computer requirements for this course?
In order to complete the practical exercises for this program, you need access to the Real-Time Dynamics Monitoring System software. This free software is available for download to any operator or engineer whose company is a signatory to NERC's new Operating Reliability Data Confidentiality Agreement.
