BSC Students

Mystic athletics are an exciting part of the BSC experience and BSC students can attend BSC games free with their student ID. BSC participates in varsity sports for women's and men's soccer, women's and men's golf, volleyball, women's and men's basketball, baseball, and women's fast pitch softball.

BSC provides students with several choices for out of the classroom activities that will enhance your time at BSC.

BSC offers a year-round calendar of events and activities for students and the public.

BSC Intramural sports provide a number of opportunities to stay active, healthy, meet new people, participate in a campus group, and have fun.

Located in the Student Union, BSC Food Service offers two options for snacks and meals, the residence hall dining and Mystic Snack Bar.

Residence Hall Dining
Located in the Missouri Dining Room, you can find wonderful meal options. Start with an entrée and add soup, fresh salad bar and beverages. Contract options also are available. The residence dining hall is open to any individual looking for a great meal.

Mystic Snack Bar
The Mystic Snack Bar is open to all and is located next to Ian's Place. Take advantage of the extensive snack bar menu and daily specials.

Meal Plans
On-Campus Meal Plans
Residence hall students are required to maintain a meal plan while staying in the residence halls. We provide two board contracts seven days a week:
  • 12 Meal Plan (2 meals each day Monday-Friday, 1 meal Saturday-Sunday)
  • 17 Meal Plan (3 meals each day Monday-Friday, 1 meal Saturday-Sunday)
Off Campus Meal
If you live off-campus, you can sign up for a meal plan. Please note that these meal plans are served in the Missouri Room Contract Line not in the Snack Bar.

On Campus Housing
Living in a residence hall means you have the entire resources of the college at your fingertips. Residence hall students have a great opportunity to make new friends in a close group environment, more faculty contacts, more student contacts, more study time, and more participation in student and recreational activities.

Bismarck State College has four residence halls
  • Lidstrom: co-ed, suite style
  • Mystic: co-ed apartment style
  • Swensen: women's suite style
  • Werner: men's traditional style
Off Campus Housing
BSC offers residence hall living on our campus; however, some individuals may prefer or find a necessity to live off campus. If you have never rented off campus housing, it is difficult to know what questions to ask. Also, if you have never created a budget for living on your own, this can seem overwhelming. Our office can help. Call 701-224-5464.
