COMMUNITY RESOURCES

North Dakota Department of Human Services:  
DHS provides services that help vulnerable North Dakotans of all ages to maintain or enhance their quality of life, which may be threatened by lack of financial resources, emotional crises, disabling conditions, or an inability to protect themselves.

ND Council on Abused Women's Services & Coalition Against Sexual Assault in ND:  
NDCAWS continues to seek legislation, policy, and systems changes to promote victim safety and offender accountability. Its 19 member programs serve on a variety of committees and forums designed to take action on specific relevant issues.

Community Resource Center for GLBTQ Community:  
Dakota OutRight serves as a community resource center for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (GLBTQ) community and their allies in central and western North Dakota.

Custer Health's Services and Programs:  
Custer Health is a five county multi-district health unit providing health services to the people of Mercer, Oliver, Grant, Morton, and Sioux Counties.

Community Action:    
Program assistance includes emergency financial services, food pantry, housing programs, clothing closet, and others.  Please reference the website for application requirements.
