TAX INFORMATION
Bismarck State College Student Finance Services will mail the 1098T tax information form on or before January 31st of each year by US Postal Service to the student's home address as listed in CampusConnection.
To receive a 1098T the student must have a Social Security Number listed in Campus Connection. Students without a Social Security Number located in their BioDemo record are required to provide a legible copy of a Picture ID (Driver's License) and their Social Security Card. These can be faxed to 701-224-5550, Attn: Mary. Please provide a day time phone number in case the copies are not legible. Social Security information received after January 31st will be charged a $25.00 processing fee.
1098T FORMS ARE MAILED IN A CLEARLY MARKED ENVELOPE INDICATING "IMPORTANT TAX INFORMATION."
Students who have moved and have not corrected their home address, please allow ample time for the US Postal Service to return the form to BSC Student Finance Services. Mail returned by the US Postal Service will be forwarded to the correct address if the home address has been updated in CampusConnection or to a forwarding address provided by the US Postal Service.
1098T information will not be provided over the phone or in any other format. Due to FERPA regulations only the student can change addresses or request further information.
