BSC has launched a new Campus Emergency Notification System.
This communication system will be used by BSC to contact
students and employees about emergencies
regarding campus safety issues or severe
weather emergencies.
The new system allows BSC to send timesensitive,
pre-recorded messages via voice
messages, e-mail and text messages.
Dave Clark, executive vice president,
said the Campus Emergency Notification
System will help the college provide a safer
environment, enhance emergency preparedness,
and keep students and employees better
informed.
Students received an email message from
the college in March encouraging them to
sign up for the system via a link on BSC’s
Web site. Testing of the system took place in
March and April.
