 Classification of Students
BSC Co-Ed Students
A full-time student is one enrolled in 12 or more semester hours credit.
A part-time student is one enrolled in less than 12 semester hours credit.
A sophomore is any student who has earned at least 24 semester hours of college-level credit.

A non-degree student is any student who has not met the necessary admission requirements or is not pursuing a degree or vocational program. Credits earned by a special student cannot be credited toward a degree or program diploma until all admissions requirements have been satisfied and their credit records evaluated by the Registrar. The nondegree classification is designed for those who wish to pursue a program in continuing education for cultural development and/or to improve their skills and proficiencies enabling them to prepare for or retain employment opportunities. Non-degree students are not eligible for graduation and are not eligible to receive any Title IV financial aid. Continued enrollment at BSC may be denied unless all admissions requirements are satisfied. Transcripts of these students will indicate "conditionally admitted."
