The BSC Academic Assessment Information web site provides
information to faculty, students, college personnel and community
members on BSC's assessment of student academic achievement.
Students at BSC participate in a variety of assessment
activities, such as pre- and post-testing within the classroom,
evaluation of writing and oral presentation skills, program-level
tests prior to graduation, and student opinion surveys.
Through the collaborative effort of our faculty,
administration, and the Assessment Committee these assessment
efforts have been used to drive curricular and instructional
improvements for the purpose of improving student learning.
