Phi Theta Kappa is the two-year college national honor society. The local chapter of BSC is named Kappa Omicron. The purpose of Kappa Omicron chapter is the promotion of scholarship, the development of leadership and service and the cultivation of fellowship among qualified students of the college. Membership is restricted to candidates completing 12 or more credit hours at BSC leading to an associate degree and having a minimum GPA of 3.50.



1961-62 Yearbook
The 1961-62 Phi Theta Kappa Society has a membership of eight. Membership is limited to ten percent of the sophomore class.  Members are selected by the faculty on the basis of scholarship and character.
