WHY CSP MATTERS
We live in challenging times. Problems on the global and national stage such as environmental concerns, hostilities, technological changes, economic conditions, employment and many others combine with local issues to present challenges that sometimes seem insurmountable. To meet the challenges that face us individually and as a society, we need well-educated and capable people who are determined to make a difference.
Students have always been the first and foremost concern at Bismarck State College. It is our goal to provide them with the skills and knowledge they will need to face an uncertain future with courage. That means that BSC must be the best college it can be. Through a thoughtful and collaborative strategic planning process we can anticipate the future and develop the innovations and adaptations needed by our students and our society.
Planning provides a road map for navigating in uncertain and challenging times. It helps us to recognize and understand complexities and opportunities, and to ensure that we are on the right road that will allow BSC and our students to thrive.
